FULL DESCRIPTIONS

1. Feminist Review
Contributors

Location:
Virtual

Type:

Deadline:
July 31st, 2010

Description:

With more than 20,000 monthly visitors, Feminist Review (feministreview.org) facilitates dialogue among readers and writers worldwide about current politics and pop culture by critically exploring books, music, films, plays, and products that purport to possess a feminist sensibility.

Feminist Review is the only site where the content is focused solely on product reviews and interviews with cultural creators and activists, and produced by women living around the globe.

We are seeking people of all genders who would like to write reviews of music, film, books, magazines, performances, and other products from a social justice perspective. Feminist identification is not a requirement, as we are aware that for some 'feminist' is a legitimately unsavory term; however, writers must be committed to ending gendered oppressions.

This is an unpaid, volunteer position - although writers may keep any items reviewed.
