8) Can I Just Create a New Account if I Can't Log Into The Old One?

1) How do I log In?
Logging into the NWSA site is simple if you have your login user name and your password.  Use the login box on the first page or this page, or click the "Log-In link" at the top of each page. That link will take you to the main log in /member renewal page.

2) Who can Log In?

  • a) Current NWSA members can log in and gain access to member only pages and sections of our site.

  • b) If you set up a non-member account to submit a proposal to the NWSA Annual conference, you can log in using the user name and password you created at that time. You will be able to upgrade your login to a member login.

  • c) If you membership has expired you can still log in using your username and password, but you will be asked to renew your membership to gain access to the member only features on our site.

By logging and renewing you will update your current record.
NOTE: If your membership has expired in our system and you wish to rejoin PLEASE DO NOT CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT!!

3) What is my User Name?
User names and passwords are set by you when you joined. Usually your username is your email address.
Your password is secret, so you need to remember it, or you can request to reset it through the website (see #4).

4) What Do I Do if I Forgot My Password?
If you have forgotten your password, go to https://www.nwsa.org/membership/resetpassword.php
or click the link on the login page that says "reset password." You will be asked on the next page to enter your login name or your email address.

If either matches a record in our database you will receive an email at the email address we have in your record, with a link to a page where you can put in your new password. You will then be logged into the site.

If the system doesn't recognised your username or email, it will tell you so immediately. In this case, try one of your other email addresses.

5) I need to Update My Information
You an update your information record at anytime by going to: https://www.nwsa.org/membership/membertools.php
Here you can update all of your contact information, change your username and password, see your payment history, and find other useful links.

6) The Email Address In My Record Is Not My Current Email
You can log in using your old email address if that was your username.
Once logged in you can update your email address by going to https://www.nwsa.org/membership/membertools.php

7) I Forgot My Password AND The Email Address In My Record Is Not My Current Email
If your email has changed, or you no longer receive emails at the address we have in our records, you will not be able to reset your password yourself. Please email the National Office and they can help you out with this.

8) Can I Just Create a New Account if I Can't Log Into The Old One?
We strongly urge you NOT to create a new account if you cannot access the old one. You will have to repay your membership to access the member only features on the site as your previous record will not be linked.

Your record is linked to your payment history, conference registration, community groups, membership directory and other useful data. So creating a new account will create a new record in our database as if you were a new member.
Please use the above methods before resorting to this.
