Keynotes/Speakers: Elaine Tyler May, author of America and the Pill
Theme: This is a day-long, regional workshop for feminist students, faculty, and advocates that provides contexts for reproductive and sexual politics in red states. Especially geared for feminist undergraduate students from conservative mid-America states who seek camaraderie and intellectual support for understanding current debates and advocating for reproductive justice and sexual rights. In the evening there will be a lecture featuring Elaine Tyler May, author of America and The Pill, that is open to the public.
Suggested Topics: This is not a call for papers. The program will consist of local and national leaders (scholars and activists) contributing to panel dicussions. See website for details as we line up our speakers.
